Susie's School Bus Solution (Paperback or Softback)

Every morning, Susie rushed to get ready for school, but no matter how hard she tried, she often seemed to miss the bus. That is, until her mom decided to solve the problem using something amazing: computer vision! Together, they embarked on a fun, creative journey to build their real-life system to detect when the school bus was near and send an alert so she could finally catch it on time.

In Susie’s School Bus Solution, young readers will join Susie and her mom as they learn about the fascinating world of artificial intelligence (AI) and computer vision. Through easy-to-understand explanations and relatable scenarios, this book introduces children to the concept of teaching computers to "see" and recognize objects. As Susie and her mom work on this project, they teach the computer to identify the bus in all conditions, even in the snow! This is a tale of problem-solving, technology, and teamwork, all wrapped up in one fun story.

Filled with fun illustrations and kid-friendly explanations, Susie’s School Bus Solution is perfect for young readers (ages 6-12) curious about how things work and how AI is built and used to solve real-world problems.
