Reviews
After a quickie marriage, Miami lawyers Gail Connor and Anthony Quintana travel to Havana to honeymoon, staying at his sister, Marta's, house. Marta is married to General Ramirez Vega, a rising star in Castro's government, and someone the CIA wants Anthony to convince to defect so he can confirm information given to them by someone else. William Dufris provides unique voices for a myriad of characters and endless energy for plenty of action. Descriptions of Havana's fifty-year-old exhaust-spewing cars and its beautiful but crumbling architecture come alive in Dufris's narration. Most importantly, Dufris's voice draws the listener into the heart of the story, Anthony's love for the country he was forced to leave when he was a teen.
