With three engraved vignettes pasted into the text. Four volumes in elegant tan half calf, somewhat worn, with raised bands, richly gilt spines, tan and green labels. Faintly sprinkled edges. Boards partly worn and scratched. Foxing and spotting in parts, especially in volume I, which also contains some mirror printing on pp. 187-255 and towards the end. Heavy ruststain in the text on p. 569 and an inkstain on pp. 732-42 in volume II. Volume III:1 with occasional damp- and soilstains, mainly in the upper margin and the corners. Warmholtz Bibliotheca historica Sueo-Gothica 2532. All published. The work covers the time until the reign of Charles IX. The engraved vignettes are made by Jean Eric Rehn och Per Gustaf Floding.
