Publisher's boards with gilt lettering on spine and front board, printed dustjacket. Price-label on rear panel of the jacket. A fine copy. A collection of texts about Cyprus written by Swedes throughout the history, from documents penned by travellers from the early medieval period to the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries and also with recollections by researchers and visitors from the present. Among the authors are St. Bridget, Bengt Bengtsson Oxenstierna, Sven Lidman, Sigfrid Siwertz, Folke Henschen and personell stationed in Cyprus as part of the Swedish UN contingent. From the library of Bo Holmberg (1957-2024), professor of Semitic Languages.
