About the Author

William F. Fry is Emeritus Associate Clinical Professor at Stanford University, Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry. He is the author or co-author of numerous books including Humor and Wellness in Clinical Intervention, Handbook of Humor and Psychotherapy: Advances in the Clinical Use of Humor, and Life Studies of Comedy Writers.
