About the Author
Scott Simons is an accomplished entrepreneur, venture investor, company advisor, and speaker. Scott works closely with passionate entrepreneurs through his consulting company, the CEO Council and the Institute For Entrepreneurship, which he founded to bring business owners together to learn new ideas and share their experiences, growing larger enterprises. He founded his first company, Simons Optical, at the age of 21. He went on to build several multi-million dollar enterprises. During the time he built his companies, he worked closely with private investment bankers and served as the Chair of the Council of Growing Companies, Pennjerdel Chapter, where he learned the inner workings of corporate America through exposure to companies like IBM and GE. Scott has been involved with companies in a wide variety of industries including direct marketing, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, and hospitality, just to name a few.
