In a nostalgic look back, the 50s are revisited on Bill’s first date and Lesley’s kitchen walls! Further back, Joyce relates Calpurnia’s tragic tale and similar sombre stories are included from John and Shaun. From the poetic to the more prosaic, Mary and Alan both write about a job interview and the group unites to relate tales of kitchen calamities.
