The story begins when a young adventurer is sent out by the mythical gods on a quest to fi nd 7 magical swords-tools they believe will help him defeat the evil wizards and restore order to the worlds they have enslaved and terrorized. Along the way, 5 men join the adventurer's quest to fi nd the swords and overthrow the evil wizards. Their long journey carries them from ice worlds to densely wooded lands inhabited by strange groups of people, ghosts, beasts, dinosaurs, dragons, and sea denizens, places where they're pursued constantly by the wizards' ruthless armies.
