2 Vols, xxii 398 pages, large 4to., 140 plates, pictorial end papers in Djs light rubbing to part edges of DJs small 3cm closed tear to top edge of vol 2, now in clear removable sleeves a VG set. Based on the collection of the National Maritime Museum, many weapons outside the collection have also been examined including foreign weapons, photographs of some 150 swords, dirks and cutlasses. The books also provide information about the British sword trade and an extensive list of makers and retailers.
