Fascinating vintage popular history of the Hung League (also known as the Tiandihui or Heaven and Earth Society) with special emphasis placed on its role in the overthrow of the Manchu dynasty and Sun Yat-Sen's attempts to use the society in promoting revolution. Copy is in very good condition. Minimal wear to the yellow cloth boards. Interior is clean and unmarked save for former owner's name (noted Canadian missionary and translator Lewis C.
