Synopsis
Continually at odds with the brass of the LAPD and the paparazzi, Mitch Ryan has a gift for giving himself powerful adversaries. After pulling himself off a barstool to discover a gorgeous reality-TV star bleeding-out in a back alley, the ex-cop puts himself square in the sights of an internationally feared Colombian street gang, an insanely hot Voodoo priestess, and a culture sick with celebrity.
About the Author
Tom Kiesche currently lives in Los Angeles and declares that he currently pays his local, state and federal taxes mainly by being a television, film, stage and commercial actor. If you've watched any TV over the past twenty years there's a good chance you've seen him in action. He has had several feature length screenplays optioned, short films produced, and many plays produced on stages on both coasts, as well as a few places in-between. He's been published as a poet, an essayist, a blogger, and has been a paid contributor to the publication Backstage. He's been recorded as a vocalist, a voice over artist, has appeared on many stages as a singer, and has created and written several Internet series, including one entitled: "Closet Singer." He's an award winning filmmaker, an admitted hack editor, director and producer. And occasionally he's a semi-professional photographer, having sold prints and shot for several individuals and organizations. Apparently, if it allows him to be creative, he loves it. Born in Hackensack, NJ, he mainly grew up about 37 miles west of the George Washington Bridge, in the suburbs, in a small section named Lower BerkshireBerkshire Valley. He attended Roxbury High School. Harvard on The Hill AKA: Morris County College. He studied biology, chemistry, communications and business and graduated from Trenton State College. He sold pharmaceuticals for a fortune 500 company for two-and-a-half years in New Haven, which oddly enough is where he fell in love with the creative arts: acting, writing and improv comedy. He gave notice to a supportive boss on his 25th birthday and from there he started living a performing and creative life in New York City.
