1/4 leather with printed boards. Front board detached. 72 pp. Colored cerographic maps throughout, all on pages also containing text. The maps have all been re-engraved from the 1845 edition of this geography, some, such as Iowa and Wisconsin, having major changes. Others had little change in the geography depicted. The text is largely the same as 1845, but has been updated to reflect significant changes. The map of the United States is fully colored. It shows the Gold Region of California, but does not delineate the new state's eastern oundary. Seller Inventory # a00210
