About the Author

Ferril Losee has more than 40 years of electrical engineering experience, both as an industry professional and as a professor and chairman of the department of electrical engineering at Brigham Young University. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Utah and the University of Southern California, respectively. Now retired, he is currently a part-time consultant and author in the areas of communications, radar, and other RF systems.
