AUR 5060. Szymanowski's masterful Second Symphony and two captivating transcriptions by Grzegorz Fitelberg - performed by the Lodz Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Henryk Czyz. CONTENTS: Roxana's Song from the opera "King Roger"; Etude in Bb minor, Op. 4 No. 3; Symphony No. 2 in Bb Major (1910; in two movements: Allegro moderato, grazioso & Theme with variations). Liner Notes are in English. CONDITION: An excellent Very Good Plus LP record [not a CD!] in a Near Fine jacket (with light edge-wear and a iny corner bump). The LP - tested and cleaned before listing - plays beautifully, but with a few spots with light-to-moderate surface noise in the two short works. The Symphony fares better, quieter, gradable as Near Fine. ***A fresh anti-static inner sleeve replaces the plain/blank original - and the jacket is nestled in a clear outer sleeve. Securely packed and promptly mailed for ultra-safe shipping globally! [This program is not available in CD format.].
