Handsome bright red simulated leather boards; vibrant gilt and silver stamping to front board and spine with latter additionally decorated with three raised bands; rear board decorated with vibrant gilt stamped borders with touch of soiling and some rubbing near bottom edge. All edges gilt but with a few flecks to fore-edge. Red patterned endpapers. Pages are bright and clean. Binding is still crisp. A near fine copy.
