8 x 5.5, half leather, marbled boards, 144 pp, covers quite worn, top of spine chipped, leather parts scuffed badly. Ex-lib with spine number and one ink stamp on title page, hinges loose, contents (esp end papers) browned and foxed, still an interesting piece. The tariff on lard was 3 cents per pound, on drawing pencils 25 percent, but no tariff on pomegranates.
