Reprint (first published in 1934). 318, [2] pages. Hardcover: H 19.25cm x L 13cm. Dust jacket with pink-toned front panel illustration by St. John bordered on right and left by black vertical stripes within yellow margins; spine panel and rear panel predominately yellow; soiling and toning to dj with shallow chipping at spine and flap fold ends; dj now presented in a mylar Brodart protector. Red cloth with black stamping to spine and front board; light bumping at spine ends. Dark green top edge; light toning to fore-edge and bottom edge with latter having a few light foxing spots. Light toning to endpapers; light foxing to book's b/w plates (all illustrated by James Allen St. John including frontispiece) but interior pages are otherwise clean. Binding is firm. Else a very good+ copy in a very good- dust jacket.
