Octavo (19.25cm); brick red paper-covered boards, with titles stamped in black on spine and front cover; dustjacket; [6], 309pp. Text is tanned as usual, contemporary (1945) ownership inscription to front endpaper, with spine ends gently nudged, some pinpoint wear to extremities, and a tiny, shallow bump to upper edge of front board; Very Good+. Dustjacket still quite bright, with mild wear to spine ends and corners, and a few tiny tears; Very Good+ to Near Fine. Madison Square edition of the thirteenth Tarzan novel, the final Grosset edition with the dustjacket art designed by J. Allen St. John. "Battling Arab slavers, Tarzan and an American discover two lost cities of 12th century knights." Heins T13.8.
