120x80mm (4¾"x3¼"). German language, in Fraktur. Pretty little yearbook of poetry and prose. With 18 highly detailed finely engraved plates - 12 small-scale (one for each month of the year), and 6 near full-side (including paper-guarded frontispiece). pp(2)/(30)284/(2) including single blank preliminary & final leaves. All edges gilt. Original cream paper-covered backstrip and boards decorated in black. Original green pastedowns, no flyleaves. Binding moderately dust- & handling-marked. Backstrip toned. Hinges firm, but with open splits from heads to tails, along which a little paper loss. Both inner and outer corners of boards lightly rubbed, the lower inner corners also slightly bumped. Front board with shallow compression along 15mm of fore-edge. Rectangular segment of length 50mm along upper edge and of depth 15mm missing from upper outer corner of preliminary leaf, beneath which a small ownership stamp of some age. Binding holding firmly. Contents here & there lightly spotted, otherwise clean and tight. GOOD copy / guter Zustand. Seller Inventory # 27846
