Diane (Jones) Nocentini was born in Calgary, Alberta, and grew up in the Garden City of Victoria, B.C. She met her husband while traveling in Europe, and they now live in Pietrapiana, Tuscany, with their two children. Diane currently teaches English, and is working on her next project: Family Recipes, The Best of Italian Regional Cooking.

Madeline (Ashworth) Armillotta was born and raised in Devon, England. She studied art, design, and art history. Her love of art drew her back to Florence, and she now lives in Incisa with her husband and daughter. She presently works as an interpreter for a company based near Florence, and travels abroad regularly.
