About this Item

This is a UK SECOND edition hardcover published by Jarrold & Sons circa 1796. The photos show the condition better than I can describe, however overall I am grading the book as Near Fine condition for its age. The book has a straight spine with lightly dinged corners and lightly softened spine ends. The boards are red and bright given the age, with the exterior title text intact. The page edges are heavily toned but the interior text is clean. There is a lengthy gift inscription to the front end paper, which is dated November 1796. The title page states SECOND EDITION.
