Preparing for Online STAAR Mathematics AssessmentsThe STAAR tests were previously made up only of multiple-choice and gridded-response questions. By 2022-2023, all STAAR tests will be taken online and the tests will include a wide range of question types. The new questions will use online features and may involve tasks like sorting items, placing items in order, using fraction models, selecting multiple answers, matching items, plotting points, completing tables, writing equations, and providing written answers.
