1962 Solid little, 4 1/4 by 6 1/2 in. plastic comb bound SOFT COVER with mild wear and soiling. A couple of pages have been tabbed and have minimal underlining. Plastic comb is intact. Name of prior owner is written on front cover. 113 pages. Front cover: "The Shield of the Third Order - Better than their royal crowns of gold the blessed Saints Louis and Elizabeth loved their earthly crown of Jesus Christ." Very SCARCE piece of Tertiary order history and tradition. This Anglo-Catholic order of laity followed the rule of St. Francis for laity and this is the third publication of their Manual. As shown, it is in good shape and still very usable. There are a few neat ink marks on some pages. Also, tipped in are the four pages of prayers. THE 038117 LOC THIRD EDITION 1962.

We had an open shop in the Northwest section of Philadelphia in the Chestnut Hill, Mt Airy neighborhood for 18 1/2 years. It was in a beautiful 1882 train station designed by the noted architect, Frank Furness. In August of 2014, we closed that shop but continue to sell on-line out of our home in Williamsburg, PA.
