When she returns from Mountainside Christian Academy to her family farm in New Hampshire for the summer, fifteen-year-old Liz faces a struggle between her family's faith and her own desire to "be herself," a struggle complicated by older brother's battle with muscular dystrophy.
"I saw firsthand what an impact just one person's life can have," writes Sara Tatham, referring to her brother, who was disabled by muscular dystrophy. "I wanted to show that God can use ordinary Christians who are faithful."
Mrs. Tatham has written several short stories and articles for young people, and she and her family live in Plymouth, New Hampshire.
