Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. Five hardback books, all blue cloth bound, with gilt titles on the front boards and spines. Volumes I, II & IV all have worn and tatty dust jackets, whilst Volumes III & V don't have any jackets. These five volumes are the Mid-Century Edition and are edited by John Bartholomew, and are dedicated by gracious permission to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. All five books are in used and reasonably good condition, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. Volume I: World, Australasia, & East Asia, Published in 1958 and has 24 plates, plus frontispiece. Volume II: South-West Asia & Russia, Published 1959 and has plates running from 25 to 48. Volume III: Northern Europe< Published 1955, and has plates running from 49 to 72. Volume IV: Southern Europe and Africa, Published in 1956, and has plates running from 73 to 96. Volume V: The Americas, Published in 1957, and has plates running from 97 to 120. All plates, text, maps etc are in very good, clean, readable order and all pages intact. Please note when all five books are packaged together for shipping they weigh in excess of 15 kgs therefore postage/shipping may increase from listed price. All five volumes come with additional index pages. A fabulous collection of five amazing volumes, all referencing our stunning world with colourful maps, presented in an easy to read and view form.
