Small paper library label at head of spine. Eighteenth century gift inscription in ink on 2nd free endpaper (1768). Mid-18th century edition of the only known work of Roman philosopher and poet Titus Lucretius Carus, De Rerum Natura, about the philosophy of Epicureanism. full leather, five raised bands, title in blind on spine.
