Matthews) stamped in red, white, and grey on spine and front cover; top edge gilt; dustjacket; [158]pp, with black & white illustrations throughout by Nella Fontaine Binckley. Hint of sunning to crown, else a fresh, Fine copy, with the pictorial elements unrubbed. In the original dustjacket, priced $1.00 at mid-spine; a bit shelfworn, spine-sunned, with gentler sunning to panels, a faint whitish stain to upper rear panel, with shallow losses to spine ends and upper edge, with several tiny nicks, tears, and attendant creases many of them discreetly mended with old tape on verso; Very Good only. A substantial book of toasts for all occasions, originally published in 1904, with each toast elaborately illustrated. A striking copy, seldom found in the scarce and fragile dustjacket.
