"Cindy Rinne’s myth-making illuminates relationships among the four elements, which live within all beings. We all have our different mix of them; if you look to astrology: some of us have more emphasis on fire, some on water, etc. The characters in Rinne’s work all have unique gifts, and their diversity is celebrated as each has their role to play in restoring the balance of life on three planets, linked through metaphysical and maybe even quantum networks. This work shows an interplanetary ancestry and shows a need to bring our varied gifts together to avert environmental collapse and restore the sacred balance among beings of all sorts—humans, animals, plants, rocks, fungi, whole planets, and even the beings we cannot (yet) sense."
