Extensively illustrated with steel engravings and one fold out map that shows both Ireland and the "Ground Plan for the Irish Industrial Exhibition Building." Green cloth boards with elaborate frame design and title blind-tooled to front and back boards. Gilt title and Irish designs to spine. Rubbing to extremities. Soiling to boards; chips to tail of spine. Corners nudged with bottom front corner showing. Previous owner's name to front pastedown. Age-toning with some moisture staining to interior pages. A bit rugged but maintains quality content, both in writing and illustrations, on what life was like at the times. Extensive advertising; many of the advertisements have quality engraved illustrations. Published in celebration of the Ireland's "Great Exhibition Year.". Seller Inventory # 87070
