A catalogue that accompanied the exhibition at the Library of Congress that marked two significant anniversaries, Lessing Rosenwald 82nd birthday, and the 30th anniversary of his first gift, which included 500 books to the Library of Congress in 1943. Introduction by L. Quincy Mumford, Librarian of Congress.There are 82 items which are superbly illustrated books of each century from the 15th to the present with authors such as William Blake, Erasmus, and Geoffrey Chaucer.
