With 70 full page engravings by Adrianus Collaert, 7.5 x 5", limp embossed vellum covers, 70 leaves plus index, covers worn, darkened and holed (where ties once were), no spine cover, extremities worn and bumped and chipping, inner hinges cracking, pp toned and soiled, but still a remarkable book containing 70 full page images of Saints (mostly) being crucified, arranged by Feast Day, with Latin text on opposite page. For example, Saint Eulalia on February 12, Saint Guilielmus on March 25th, Saint Benedicta on June 29th, Saint Andrew on November 30th, etc. The illustrator, Adriano Collardo, was famous for his book of illustrations of fish.
