TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES: The Church in a Rearview Mirror - SECOND EDITION: The Battle For Beulah Land

Persecution of Christians in America and the world is escalating! Christians in the Middle East are experiencing great tribulation, i.e., slavery, torture, rape, crucifixion and beheading. You may be asking yourself, what is going on? Are we nearing the time of the end referred to as the “close of the age” in Scripture? (Matthew 13:40) What is truth? Where do we find it? What should be— and what should qualify as—the standard for Truth? These are important questions, which may raise more questions— If a lie is repeated long enough, does it become truth? Are there consequences to believing a lie, or lies mixed with truth? Does God change? Is God’s Law, as presented in the Old Testament, somehow not the same as His Law presented in the New Testament? What is the reason for and the history of anti-Semitism in the Church? Seventy years ago the nation of Israel did not exist. Today, it’s in the news almost every day! How is this connected to the Word of God? TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES: The Church in a Rearview Mirror – The Battle for Beulah Land, SECOND EDITION, is a biblical and historical study with answers to these questions and more. A must read for “truth seekers!” A kingdom divided cannot stand! (Mark 3:24)—Wake up, Church!

A native of the Texas Hill Country, Gene Triesch, is a Class of '65 Graduate of Texas A&M, a former United States Army Officer, high school teacher, coach and retired business owner. Having been raised in church, he did not become serious about the study of the Bible until about the year 2000. He began a sincere search for truth in Scripture focusing primarily on prophecy, the Old Testament, and how they are connected to the New Testament. Triesch is quick to note that he is a student and not a scholar! He's had 15 years of study and there is still so much more to learn! He discovered that an honest look at Scripture and the history of the Church reveals traditions that were not a practice of that first-century Church in the Book of Acts. He feels compelled to share what he has learned.
