Sixth edition. 8vo - 6-1/16" x 9-3/16". Full color pictorial boards with a touch of wear at the head and tail of spine for a wonderful copy of the book. Full color pictorial endpapers. Ninety-three numbered pages plus one, plus two pages of ads for this collection of nature stories intended for the small child. The stories are "The Turtle Whose Snap Unfastened", "The Turkey Who Gargled His Gobble", "The Bee Who Broke His Buzz", "The Mouse Who Missed Her Mice", "The Horse Who Scrambled His Trot", "The Seal Who Found His Shadow" and "The Bunny Who Braided Her Ears". Each story is illustrated with bold full color illustrations, both full page and within text, by Ve Elizabeth Cadie in her striking, Art Deco style. Internally, the book is as new. The book comes in the publisher's original full color pictorial box which is completely intact with just a few very minor rubbed spots at the corners and along the edges. The condition of the book is FINE and the condition of the box is NEAR FINE.
