8vo. Illustrated paper covered boards. Illustrated end papers. Illustrations by Ve Elizabeth Cadie. 94 pages, with a list of New Volland Happy Children's Books at end. In addition, a small card, stating "This book is recommended for children from eight to twelve years old. It can be read to children from five to eight years old", and a single sheet [8" X 5"], describing two recent Volland titles are laid in. No names or marks. Bright with sharp corners. In publisher's illustrated card box, which is edge worn and has a tear at one corner. No dust-jacket, as issued. A bright, unmarked copy, with sharp corners, in publisher's gift box.
