11 3/4 x 16 21/23" poster, photographically illustrated. A remarkable poster manifesto proposing that the "transexual transvestites from 45th Street in New York City" are the body artists of the future and represent a Dionysian inspiration for modern art, with reference to Warhol, medieval alchemists, the Hireas of India, etc. "The mere life of a New York City TV is nearer to social relaity than that depicted by many an avant-garde painter. Here we still have much to learn. The true task of the artist is to throw overboard all limitations and become a visionary." Rare.This is the only example we've seen of the poster, and the only reference we can find is a brief entry on the Galerie St:t Petri website itself. Machine folded once, with additional creasing.
