The news and features editor of The Boston Irish Reporter, Peter F. Stevens is the award-winning author of The Voyage of the Catalpa - A Perilous Journey and Six Irish Rebels' Escape to Freedom (Carroll & Graf, hardcover 2002, paperback 2003; Orion Books, UK, 2003). Catalpa has been optioned by Octagon Films’ James Flynn and Morgan O’Sullivan for a feature movie; their many credits include Braveheart, the Elizabethmovies starring Cate Blanchett, and the hit Showtime series The Tudors.

For the Irish Reporter, he has covered both "The Troubles" and the Good Friday Peace Process, traveling on assignment frequently to Northern Ireland, London, and the Republic of Ireland. We ship all DOMESTIC United States orders using the United States Postal Service (USPS). Orders can be tracked at the USPS website: usps.com. The cost of domestic media mail postage is $3.99 (Arrival time is usually 5-10 days). The cost of domestic PRIORITY POSTAGE is $14.99 (Arrival time is usually 3-5 days). There is no extra cost for heavy books or multiple volume sets if they are sent via media mail postage.

We will ship all INTERNATIONAL orders via USPS PRIORITY AIRMAIL POST or USPS PRIORITY AIRMAIL FLAT RATE ENVELOPE and charge an initial shipping fee of $75.00 for international orders. If the book is small enough to fit in an International Priority Airmail Envelope then we will REFUND THE COST of any international postage overpayment. WE CANNOT TRACK INTERNATIONAL ORDERS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES. Sometimes international orders arrive later than expected.
