I do not use phrases such as: "Could have ..", "Might have ...", "Possible ex-library ...". I will call all the condition points I can - I give every effort to include all of them. If there is a prev. owner's name or gift inscription, I will tell you where it is. If there is underlining, margin noting, hi-liting, I will tell you, etc. If a book is author inscribed/signed, I have recently begun to identify "signature only," and if personally inscribed, will transcribe the author inscription for full disclosure. I don't want my customers to be surprised or disappointed with their purchase.
