"Turnabouts" are darling little quilts that do double duty. Drape them over items to see two delightfully different sides! One end of each 12" x 24" quilt shows off a single block, while the opposite end features a four-block arrangement. Simply turn the quilts this way or that to suit the scene. Jan's charming quilts feature a happy blend of seasonal and everyday motifs to display. And the applique? Jan's carefree folk-art style embraces imperfection, inviting quilters to just have fun--on the double!

Jan Patek has been designing folk-art quilts and publishing quilt patterns in books for more than 20 years. She designs original fabric lines for Moda Fabrics. You can also experience learning from Jan on her YouTube channel, where she presents needle-turn applique tutorials. Jan sums things up like this: "I love making quilts. It's what I do. And I don't want to make quilts and put them in a closet. I want to provide a creative outlet for others."
