About the Author
Neveen Essam-Aldeen is a Qur'an and Tajweed teacher with over 15 years of experience, specializing in teaching non-Arabic speakers how to recite the Qur'an correctly and confidently.
She began studying Islamic sciences and Tajweed in 2005 and completed four years at a Da'wa Institute with excellence and honor. She later pursued advanced Tajweed studies under qualified scholars and joined a Qur'an memorization institute. She has received two Sanad (Ijazah) certifications for the complete Qur'an, with authentic chains of transmission reaching back to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Through years of teaching, Neveen recognized the need for a simplified and practical approach to learning Tajweed—especially for adults and beginners. This inspired her to design a structured syllabus consisting of two books for adults, starting from beginner to intermediate level and progressing to advanced Tajweed rules. She has also developed a simplified version for younger learners based on the Noor Ul-Bayan method.
In addition to her books, Neveen provides step-by-step Tajweed lessons through her YouTube channel, supporting learners worldwide in improving their Qur'an recitation.
