2005 update to How to Take a Case Before the NLRB, Seventh Edition, published by BNA Books.
The 2005 Cumulative Supplement incorporates recent expansion of NLRB policies allowing the use of electronic filing in both representation and unfair labor practice cases, as well as describing upgrades in the NLRB web site designed to make it a more useful research tool for both practitioners and the general public.
Other NLRB developments include treatment of the new "full consent election agreement," which allows parties to have all disputed pre- and postelection issues resolved with finality by a regional director (i.e., with no appeal to the Board), thus streamlining the process for those who choose that option.
There is also discussion about the agreement between the NLRB and the IRS concerning how to handle outstanding IRS levies against persons entitled to backpay in NLRB proceedings.
