Take A Step Back

This book was inspired by personal experience, conversations, and observations from different areas of the workforce.
Over the years, I have spoken with and worked alongside people who have shared similar struggles: pressure to meet deadlines, fear of falling behind, difficulty switching off, and the feeling that there is always something else that needs to be done.Many people are silently carrying stress. They continue working when they are exhausted. They skip breaks. They delay holidays. They ignore the signals their bodies are sending because they believe they have no choice.
I understand this because I have experienced it too.I realised that taking a step back did not make me less committed. It helped me return better.
My hope is that these pages encourage you to pause, reflect, and make changes before stress forces you to stop.
Because the goal is not simply to work hard. The goal is to build a life that you are healthy enough to enjoy.
