Navigate the rugged terrain of your inner world, quit overthinking, and get back to living.
Like many of us, you likely feel life’s constant pressure pushing you to the limit. Never-ending stress, responsibilities, and worries can amplify negative thoughts, mentally and emotionally overwhelm you, and block clearheaded decisions.
Here’s something new and adventurous to try. From the Offroad Monks—Bryan Bernard and Tommy Stoffel, the guys behind Zen 4-Wheeling Soul Outing expeditions—comes Take the Wheel, a practical guide to explore the wilderness within, calm the chaos between your ears, and create a life in alignment with your true self. With logical and soulful lessons from both the trail and life, Take the Wheel is an inner compass you’ll turn to in times of high stress and overwhelming pressure to not only quiet your mind, but also, quite possibly set it free.

About the Author
In 2005, Tommy Stoffel woke up in the psychiatric ward of his local hospital following a self-dialed 911 call. He knew something was wrong but couldn't quite believe he ended up here. Denial quickly turned to realization as he met fellow humans all suffering from some form of mental overload. Unfortunately, the therapy prescribed only masked symptoms and didn't address the core issue. Ancient mindfulness and compassionate psychology teachings began shedding light on the real, underlying problem. Drawing from this wisdom, he began teaching workshops for other struggling friends and family out of his living room. Eventually, these developed into lessons and courses, which were taken offroad, where people could release tension and get more in tune with their authentic, vibrant selves. Tommy is the founder of Zen 4-Wheelers and leads outings on a regular basis. He's also a manager in a long-running corporate career and a co-host and executive producer of the Offroad Monks documentary.
In 2019 Bryan Bernard found himself on top of a mountain holding a loaded 9-mm to his head and contemplating suicide. He had "succeeded" in winning the rat race of life only to realize he had become a rat--and he was miserable as hell. With the help of his good friend Tommy Stoffel and his approach to mindfulness, Bryan broke free from the grip of a deep depression. Using their mutual love of Zen Jeeping as a vehicle, they developed a practical, approachable, and even fun framework to help people deal with the stressors in life. Together, they've helped hundreds of people break free before they break down. Bryan is a successful software entrepreneur, a leader of Zen 4-Wheeler outings, co-host and executive producer of the Offroad Monks documentary, and a life-long writer.
