Austin Buffum, EdD, has forty-seven years of experience in public schools. His many roles include serving as former senior deputy superintendent of California’s Capistrano Unified School District. Janet Malone has thirty-five years of experience in public schools, including two years in rural Australia. She spent most of her public school career in the Poway Unified School District in southern California, where she retired as the director of professional development. A former teacher, teacher coach, principal, and central office administrator, Janet was able to meet the interests and needs of teachers, administrators, and support staff alike on topics ranging from assessment and effective grading to PLCs to team building, and more.
