This issue of the Heart Failure Clinics, edited by Drs. Eduardo Bossone and Raimund Erbel, will cover the current consensus on Takotsubo (Stress) Cardiomyopathy. Prof. Bossone MD, PhD, FCCP, FESC, FACC graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Naples "Federico II". He is specialist in cardiology, respiratory diseases and PhD in cardiovascular sciences. He is a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, American College of Chest Physician, American College of Cardiology and Adjunct Professor at the Cardiology Fellowship Program and International PhD Program in Cardiovascular Pathophysiology and Therapeutics, University of Naples. In 2006 for his scientific merits, he was awarded the title of scholar of the Italian Society of Cardiology.
