A Tale of Four Planets Book Two: The Rejected Counsel of Oomb

Telepathic tree creatures on the planet Oomb have welcomed Ludi and Pedro Perez with open branches, to build a new life for themselves light years away from Earth. The Oombians are not so happy, though, with other humans' efforts to use their island-strewn paradise as a staging area for combatting an imminent extraterrestrial threat.

Will the Perez family come to regret having gotten "raptured" sixty years into the future, despite their former struggles in north Philadelphia? And will plans for interplanetary war inadvertently lead to the annihilation of an entire civilization?

Meanwhile back on Earth, a nihilistic scheme is fueled by the systematic walling off, worldwide, of the affluent from those less fortunate.

Family and friends continue to insist the author's real towering achievement is a homemade chocolate chip cookie. But here are some kind words for Book One of A Tale of Four Planets: "Wow! SESSIONS WITH THE SEER was awesome! I haven't read anything like this in a long time, if ever...well-crafted and delivered an emotional win." -Jenna Brewster, Indie Book Reviewers "To say this is totally unlike anything I've ever read before would be an understatement! It is presented almost like a nonfiction story, yet it is clearly fantastical and creative, yet very intelligently so. It has a mix of almost everything...aliens, religion, spirituality, humanity...a unique book that will stay with me for some time. Looking forward to the rest of the series!" -Sherri Warner, Indie Book Reviewers "In this dangerous time when people are strengthening borders and compassion is at an all time low, David Taylor's book contains an enlightened message." -Steve Hackett, musician and composer, lead guitarist from Genesis
