Cover is loose but not detatched, major edge wear along spine, "Cloth-Like" pages appear to have worn pretty well with still very bright full page illustrations on every page with oversize print at bottom. Binding is fragile, previous owner's name at top edge front cover. Cover depicts Peter with special pants with hole for tail, shocking a nearby sparrow.
