(1993). A commemorative boxed set of facsimiles, limited to 750 copies and published in 1993 to mark the centenary of the writing of the original Peter Rabbit picture letter in 1883. Included are the following: A facsimile of the illustrated letter to Noel Moore containing the first appearance of the story, a facsimile of the privately printed first printing of the book, and a facsimile of the original deluxe edition published by Frederick Warne in 1902. The whole preserved in a folding clamshell blue cloth-covered case, with a printed booklet relating the history of the creation and publication of the work. Complete and as new in the original publisher's printed chipboard sleeve. 0.
