Another of Pushkin's retellings of traditional oral "skazki" (wonder or fairy tales), brilliantly illustrated by renowned Russian painter Ivan Bilibin on almost every page & both covers. This is the 2nd printing from 1975 of the 1970 reproduction of this work, orig. published in 1904, translated from the original Russian by Louis Zellikoff. In 20 pages, this oblong softcover has brightly decorative wrappers & a three-staple binding; staples secure but starting to show some rust. Internal contents are very clean, binding is straight & secure, pages creamy white, colorful & unmarked. Condition downgraded because both the front & back cover show heavy rubbing/insect damage, along with very mild rubbing to extremities. Our photos depict the EXACT book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have. Same day shipping on all orders received by 2 pm Weekdays (Pacific time); later orders, weekends, & holidays ship very next business day. Seller Inventory # 025746
