A Tale of Two Economies

This important book analyzes the development dynamics of India and China comparing the growth differentials of these two Asian population superpowers. The analysis draws on theories, empirics, policies and problems to elucidate the reasons for such growth differentials, and to throw some light on issues concerning the possibility of convergence and the sustainability of their growth momentum. The book also delineates the important lessons that can be emulated by other developing economies from the development dynamics of these emerging Asian economies.
