A Tale of Two Sisters (Aspen Meadow Farm)

Some of the best adventures are the ones you share with your sister.

As the sun rises over Aspen Meadow Farm, Kimberly and Daphne slip out of the house for a day of fun with their beloved ponies. Kimberly, dressed in proper riding attire, loves a bit of daring. Daphne, in denim coveralls and cowboy boots, likes to play by the rules. Together with Nellie, the gentle flower-braided pony, and spirited Rocky, the sisters set off across golden meadows glowing in the early sun.

They gallop through waving grass, skip stones at the quiet pond, and share a picnic beside sparkling Clover Creek. But when Kimberly spots a hidden path across the creek-a place they're not supposed to go-the sisters follow it into a cool green forest full of surprises. There they leap mossy logs on their brave little ponies, pick ripe apples for Mama's pie, and gently return a fallen bird's nest to its worried mama.

As the afternoon sun warms the meadow, two happy sisters ride home to the cozy barn, brush their ponies until they gleam, and already begin dreaming of tomorrow's secret path.

Warm, gentle, and full of heart, A Tale of Two Sisters is a sweet story about sisterhood, kindness, courage, and the simple magic of growing up on a farm.

Includes bonus coloring pages at the end of the book for extra fun and creativity!
